THE DAMAS PROMISE (FOR EXCHANGE & UPGRADES)

Only applicable to Damas products with Original Invoice or Proof of Purchase (Conditions apply to all)

WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE

GOLD JEWELLERY:

Can be exchanged either for Gold or Diamond Jewellery, or for a gift voucher equal to the invoiced amount of the jewellery item.

DIAMOND JEWELLERY:

CCan be exchanged either for Gold or Diamond Jewellery, or for a gift voucher equal to the invoiced amount of the jewellery item.

AFTER 30 DAYS AND WITHIN 1 YEAR OF PURCHASE

GOLD JEWELLERY:

Can be exchanged either for Gold or Diamond Jewellery or for a gift voucher. Exchange value will be calculated at the prevailing price gold and after deduction of manufacturing costs and stone weight.

DIAMOND JEWELLERY:

Can be upgraded to new Diamond Jewellery after deduction of remodelling costs and without exceeding 25% of the invoiced amount. The value of the new diamond jewellery selected should exceed the amount offered for the old jewellery

AFTER 1 YEAR OF PURCHASE:

GOLD JEWELLERY:

Can be exchanged either for Gold or Diamond Jewellery or for a gift voucher. Exchange value will be calculated at the prevailing price gold minus 1% and after deduction of manufacturing costs and stone weight.

DIAMOND JEWELLERY:

Can be upgraded to new Diamond Jewellery after deduction of remodelling costs and without exceeding 25% of the invoiced amount. The value of the new diamond jewellery selected should exceed the amount offered for the old jewellery.

FIVE YEAR WARRANTY:

  1. This Warranty is applicable on all Jewellery and shall be covered by a five years warranty against any manufacturing defect.
  2. Jewellery should not be modified or repaired by a third party.
  3. International Brands and watches follow their respective brand policy.
  4. All repairs and/or maintenance services against manufacturing defect(s) of any jewellery purchased by the customer shall be provided by Damas free of cost during the warranty period only.
  5. The warranty period shall commence on the date of the purchase of the jewellery as mentioned on the invoice issued by Damas.
  6. The customer shall be entitled to free jewellery cleaning services throughout the warranty period.
  7. Damas guarantees the quality and purity of gold and diamonds of all its jewellery products. A “Quality Assurance statement” shall be provided with the invoice of every purchase jewellery.
  8. Any claims under the warranty period must be made by presenting the original purchase invoice at any Damas store located in the country where the jewellery was purchased.
  9. Repair and maintenance charges due to general wear and tear and/or misuse of the jewellery by the customer is not covered under the warranty and the charges for repair shall be payable by the customer.
  10. For any claims made by the customer at any time, Damas’ maximum liability shall in all cases be limited to the total purchase price of the jewellery purchased by the customer as per the purchase invoice issued by Damas.
  11. Damas shall have the sole discretion to determine whether any claim for warranty is admissible based on Damas’s standard terms and conditions.
